Description: Client will not consider MLT Traveler Candidates
Your traveler will be expected to:
Work independently within two weeks of start date AND in a team setting
Obtain blood specimens
Maintain knowledge of specific specimen requirements
Follow correct order of draw based upon tube type and special handling of tests
Utilize proper resources for obtaining specimen requirement information
Collect and enter off-site blood work into system
Complete and process a variety of forms
Obtain pre-authorization and patient signature
Prepare specimens for in-lab testing or off-site shipment
Ensure blood-drawing stations are clean and well stocked
Patient Population: Pediatric to Geriatric EMR: Cerner Dress Code: Personal Scrubs of any color Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
