In this role, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team to develop and implement patient-centered interventions, utilizing your nursing skills to address the unique needs of each individual. Your clinical supervision of Mental Health Workers (MHWs) will help ensure safe, therapeutic, and effective care delivery. The position demands flexibility, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient recovery, working within a treatment program that emphasizes sobriety, mental health stabilization, and ongoing recovery support for children facing psychiatric challenges.
Required Skills:
Valid LVN or LPN license in good standing
Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations in a behavioral health setting
Strong knowledge of psychiatric and co-occurring disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety)
Ability to coordinate and implement individualized care plans
Supervision experience of behavioral health staff desirable
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Ability to float across all units and adapt to varying clinical needs
Reliable and able to start on 05/11/2026 (no exceptions)
Nice to Have Skills:
Bilingual capabilities
Experience in inpatient or residential psychiatric facilities
Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, or Crisis Prevention and Intervention
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
At least 1-2 years of experience in behavioral health, preferably with pediatric populations
Previous experience in inpatient child/adolescent mental health units
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to float to all units within the facility
Ability to work 24-hour shifts or as scheduled
Background check and compliance with all regulatory requirements
Willingness to start on 05/11/2026; no exceptions
