About the Role:
As a Temp LVN/LPN in our Long Term Care setting, you will play a critical role in delivering personalized nursing care to residents, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. You will observe, document, and respond to residents' changing needs, collaborate with healthcare teams, and support residents' families, all while adhering to regulatory standards. Required Skills:
  • Valid LVN or LPN license with current state licensure
  • Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to respond quickly to residents’ needs and changes in condition
  • Proficiency in medication administration and treatments
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to supervise and collaborate with nursing staff and assistants

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
  • Knowledge of wound care, wound vacs, and complex medical equipment
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and computerized medication administration systems
  • CPR certification and other relevant certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited LVN/LPN program
  • Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred
  • At least one year of relevant healthcare experience is ideal
