Required Skills:
- Valid state licensure and NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Proven experience in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders
- Strong knowledge of standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
- Ability to document accurately and maintain detailed patient records in electronic systems
- Adept at adjusting treatments based on patient progress and outcomes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Additional certifications such as CPR or DME knowledge
- Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and clinical practice requirements specific to LTC environments
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work Days shifts starting from 05/11/2026
- Willingness to supervise and support occupational therapy assistants, aides, or students as needed
- Commitment to adherence with NBCOT, state, and federal practice acts, as well as ethical guidelines
- Willingness to travel for supplies or documentation purposes when applicable
