Temp - QC Inpector (Night Shift)

Schedule: 2x2x3 rotative schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Environment: Hot temperature, fast-paced manufacturing setting

SUMMARY:

Inspect industrial, food, and medical-grade plastic packaging to ensure top quality, safety, and compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and GMP standards.

What You'll Do:

• Perform in-process and final checks on plastic films for dimensional and visual accuracy.
• Use precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and burst testers.
• Log all quality data electronically and maintain lot traceability.
• Flag defects, handle nonconforming materials, and notify key personnel.
• Maintain clean workstations and follow strict safety guidelines.

This is a temporary/contract position with no benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off during the contract period

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• 1-3 years of inspection experience in manufacturing or plastic extrusion
• Basic mechanical aptitude and intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Comfortable using measurement tools and handling up to 40 lbs
• Able to stand for 6-12 hours per shift and read/write in English
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
