McLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.

Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate EMR. Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives and standards of McLaren and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety and inter-disciplinary cooperation.Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff.

Requirement description :

• 2 + years of radiation therapist experience - [REQUIRED]
• ARRT (T) - [REQUIRED] [DOCUMENT]
• 1 year travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA - [REQUIRED]
• TrueBeam, ARIA, Trilogy experience - preferred

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ARRT
• BLS (AHA)
