We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN), or licensed AL/OT/PT/SLP or Pharmacist, to lead our Lactation Consultant Program. This vital role combines expert assessment, personalized care, and collaborative planning to ensure optimal lactation support for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Required Skills:
Valid Massachusetts license as RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist
Proven experience in lactation support and counseling
Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to formulate interdisciplinary plans of care
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in lactation consultancy (e.g., IBCLC)
Prior experience coordinating clinical programs or interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures related to lactation and maternal health
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or related field (Masters preferred)
Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in maternal/newborn care or lactation consulting
Previous experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics
Other Requirements:
Must mesh with Berkshire Health Systems travel and licensing policiesNO residents within 50 miles of the facility

Include your Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license with your application
Ability to travel to Pittsfield, MA starting 05/04/2026
Willingness to work days, with availability for holiday and overtime as needed
RTO requests to be submitted upfront; no late requests or more than 5 days off
