This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise with state-of-the-art GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI systems, supporting patient care overnight with a collaborative team.
What Youll Do:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans using GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 systems.
- Work closely with fellow MRI Technologists and Tech Aides in a team-oriented environment, never working solo.
- Provide exceptional patient care, averaging approximately 9 patients per shift.
- Contribute to smooth operational flow during night hours, including post-midnight call coverage.
- Maintain compliance with department policies, including adhering to time-off requests and shift protocols.
Required Skills:
- Valid MRI Technologist license/certification.
- Proven experience operating GE HDXT MRI systems.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, night-shift environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of patient handling and safety protocols.
- Additional certifications related to MRI or radiologic technology.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist with MRI specialization.
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI imaging experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the Pittsfield facility to be eligible.
- Ability to work scheduled nights and participate in on-call rotations.
- Willingness to adhere to hospital policies, including RTO (Request for Time Off) guidelines, with no more than 5 days of RTO accepted.
- Willingness to work with departmental call coverage after midnight.
