What Youll Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience operating GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI systems
- Strong understanding of MRI protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technologists and support staff
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and patient safety
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications or advanced training in MRI technology
- Experience with call coverage and managing high-volume patient loads
- Familiarity with hospital IT systems and documentation protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with MRI specialization
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on MRI imaging experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to work in Pittsfield, MA, and have reliable communication set up (voicemail enabled) for quick outreach by facility staff
- Compliance with Berkshire Health Systems policy of not considering travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Availability to start on May 4, 2026, with flexibility for scheduled RTO requests (up to 5 days preferred, note all time off at upload)
- Ability to work with approximately 9 patients per shift in a team environment, always alongside another technologist or aide
- Willingness to participate in orientation and adhere to facility protocols, including after-hours call coverage
