Job Description
X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST / MAMMOGRAPHY
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday.
- 7:30 AM–2:00 PM.
- 30 guaranteed hours per week.
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
- Must be willing to take call.
- Holiday and overtime policies apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures with appropriate technical judgment.
- Provide quality patient care while following departmental policies and safety standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control and OSHA standards.
- Maintain required competencies and continuing education for radiology and mammography.
- Assist with staff instruction or supervision when assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year of recent experience.
- Active ARRT (R) certification required.
- Active Massachusetts radiology license or proof of application required.
- Active BLS certification through AHA or ARC.
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Must be available for call.
- Maximum 5 days of requested time off; all RTO must be disclosed at submission.
- Must be available to work two holiday periods if scheduled: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday blocks.

- Current X-Ray Technologist skills checklist (within the past year).
- One signed supervisory reference from the past two years.
- Active ARRT certification.
- Active BLS certification.
- Active Massachusetts radiology license.
- Permanent address and all RTO requests must be included in the profile at submission.
