Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Temporary CDL Class A Driver to provide vacation coverage for a short-term assignment fromMay 26 through May 29. This position involves evening driving of an 18-wheeler, transporting a full load to a site in Tennessee, then returning with an empty trailer back to our job site in Roanoke, VA.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CDL driver looking for a well-paying, short-term assignment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class A 18-wheeler
Transport a full load to a designated site in Tennessee
Return an empty trailer to Roanoke, VA
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
MUST have current DOT Medical Card
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork as required
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license
Clean or acceptable MVR
Ability to safely operate an 18-wheeler
Dependable and punctual for evening start times
Prior CDL driving experience required
Available all four dates: May 2629
Compensation
$26 per hour
Short-term, clearly defined assignment
