Temporary Front Desk Associate

Starting Pay Range: $22.14 - $24.17

Available Schedule: 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday

This temporary position is anticipated to last between 2 - 8 weeks.

Horizon House is actively seeking a Front Desk Associate. This position serves as the first point of contact for residents, staff, guests, and vendors. This role is essential in fostering a welcoming and secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and on-site visitors to the appropriate party or voicemail.
• Create and maintain an environment that translates the mission and values of Horizon Houseinto daily actions that maintain the well-being of all residents and guests.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments in the delivery of services.
• Ensure consistent action is taken by all employees, residents, vendors and visitors to comply with HIPAA security/privacy regulations per Horizon House policies and practices.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• One (1) year of receptionist, customer service, hospitality or administrative support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and comfort with web-based systems.
• Strong effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in all interactions, including emergency situations.
