The Special Education teacher creates a supportive learning environment that enables acquisition of skills and knowledge, and guides students toward reaching their academic, social, intellectual and physical potential. Special Requirements:1. Master's Degree2. Current TSPC Licensure with Special Education endorsement.3. The ability to effectively work and communicate with students, parents, and school personnel from diverse cultures and/or background4. Strong ability for collaboration 5. Strong interpersonal skills6. Knowledge of 2nd language acquisition7. Good communication skills, written and oral 8. Strong organizational and time management skills.9. The ability to learn new automated systems as they are brought online by the District10 Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons11.
