We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused individual to support seasonal transportation needs during a temporary assignment. In this role, you will help ensure timely, courteous, and efficient delivery or transport of goods, materials, or passengers, depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws, policies, and procedures
- Complete assigned routes, deliveries, pickups, or transport duties on schedule
- Inspect vehicles before and after use and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Load, unload, secure, and verify items as needed to ensure accurate and safe handling
- Maintain accurate records, logs, mileage, and delivery documentation
- Provide courteous service and communicate professionally with customers, clients, and team members
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area
- Adapt to seasonal demand, route changes, and additional support needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate vehicles relevant to the assignment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items as required by the role
- Flexibility to work a seasonal schedule, which may include varied hours or days
Preferred Experience
- Previous driving, delivery, transportation, or route-based work experience
- Experience using GPS, route sheets, or mobile devices for navigation and updates
- Familiarity with basic vehicle inspections and safe loading practices
