Vertical Description:
This position has the primary responsibility of shipping both inventory and non-inventory items. Ensures that the appropriate documentation and filing are complete for shipments. Completes transactions in the ERP system.

LEAD- Works with management to ensure that the shipping area is appropriately staffed to manage work load. Coaches warehouse personnel in receiving processes and maintains appropriate packaging, and receiving materials needed to conduct business.

Responsible receiving orders, completing required.
Associated Tasks for the documentation and entries into the ERP system and external Lead:
databases (export) as needed.
Tracks shipments, deliveries and orders using UPS, OHL and FedEx Online Software.
Coordinate shipment of product to authorized sterilization company / other sub-contractors.
Ship test samples for LAL testing. sterilization, dose audits, bio- burden testing, and peel testing when needed.
Understands and follows Import and Export Compliance Procedures using the Automated Export System.
Understand and follows the comprehensive list incorporating parties REQUIRED to be screened according to the United States Government's export laws and requirements -the MK Data Denial list.
Receive and deliver packages and product, deliver to appropriate person or department as needed. Ensure product is not damaged and appropriate paperwork was sent with shipment as needed. Complete required receiving transactions in ERP system.
Keep warehouse areas neat and organized.

Understands the regulatory, industry requirements for International receiving. Assist with resolving any issues related toshipments (paperwork, customs clearance, etc.)
Coach warehouse personnel in receiving processes.

Order necessary supplies and maintain accurate levels needed for day to day shipping requirements. Develops a strategic plan for short and long term shipping material requirements.
Optimize the Finished Goods area layout and stock locations by product to ensure safe and ergonomic handling of products for shipment.
Help with bar code implementation / other process improvements as needed.

Facility / Maintenance
All:
Coordinate with facilities department for movement of inventory and marketing / sales material.
Coordinate with manager and outside vendors as required.
Minor janitorial duties as required.
Inventory Management
All:
Assist with managing inventory (physically and in ERP system} of controlled and marketing items in Finish Goods Area.
Assist with cycle counting as needed.
Participate in process improvement activities/ ERP system related items as needed.
Requirements:
Experience: Level-I 3 years of similar experience Level II 6 years of similar experience Knowledge, Skills. and Abilities Strong communication, written and organizational skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel. Word. and Outlook) and with ERP. Detail oriented. Capable of completing numerous computer entries accurately. Ability to coordinate activities with outside vendors. Shipping commercial product using FedEx, OHL, UPS, and other shipping companies as needed. Ability to package components, understand and follow applicable procedures Fork lift operation as needed. High school diploma or GED
