Title Tenure-Track Professor in Clinical Psychology School Faculty of Arts and Sciences Department/Area Psychology Position Description
The Department of Psychology at Harvard University seeks to appoint a tenure-track professor in Clinical Psychology. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2027. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and for mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.
We seek candidates with expertise in clinical psychological science, broadly conceived. Our interest is less in specific topic areas or methods than in innovation and excellence in the applicant's research program. Successful candidates might employ data science (including ML/AI, computational modeling, and related approaches), cognitive neuroscience, genetic, or cross-cultural work, among other approaches. We seek candidates whose scholarship complements existing research in the Department.
Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or terminal degree required by the time the appointment begins. Candidates should have demonstrated a promise of excellence in both research and teaching.
Additional Qualifications
Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising is desired.
