Title: Territory Finance Manager - 122327

Onsite/Remote:Remote Position

This is a field-based role out of Dallas, TX - covering a territory within Texas, Louisana and Oklahoma.

Your Responsibilities

As a Territory Finance Manager for John Deere Financial (JDF), located in Dallas, TX, you will grow the Loan, Lease, and Revolving (PowerPlan) Finance Volume and Share while also supporting the development and profitable growth of John Deere Construction & Forestry (C&F) dealers by enabling and growing sales in order to achieve equipment and market share goals for the territory. Your territory will include Texas, Louisana, and Oklahoma.

Additionally, you will:

  • Provide finance solutions to grow John Deere sales of equipment, parts, technology, and services to meet the needs of dealers and customers
  • Serve as a liaison between dealers/channel partners and JDF in resolving issues and developing solutions to business opportunities
  • Create alignment with dealers by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Be the subject-matter-expert for retail financing of equipment, parts, service, and technology including the delivery of training to dealers, company employees and customers
  • Engage with dealers regarding digital marketing and e-commerce tools

What Skills You Need

  • Previous Sales, Marketing, Credit or Business-related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence without authority
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans and work without supervision
  • Demonstrated interpersonal selling, negotiation and conflict resolution skills including ability to have difficult conversations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to relocate (if applicable) to the assigned territory
  • Ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Understanding of finance products and programs
  • Previous field sales and/or product support experience with regular dealer and customer contact
  • Construction & Forestry (C&F) industry experience - markets, products, competitors, customers, and/or distribution trends - Quarry, Aggregate, Road Building, Site Prep, etc.
  • Marketing/sales experience with financial services or C&F equipment
  • Proven ability to drive results
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely
  • Previous experiences within various Deere/JDF functions such as Sales, Market Development, Credit Delivery, Asset Management, Customer Support, etc.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Marketing/Sales discipline
