REPORTS TO: Corporate Construction Sales Manager
JOB SUMMARY: Builds customer relationships by traveling to customer locations to perform follow-up activities on complete goods, parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote equipment sales, furnish technical support where applicable and collect profiling information in order to enhance the customer experience. The person in this position must maintain confidentiality, meeting deadlines, and enforcing the letter and spirit of company policy, procedures, and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performs follow-up calls at customer locations on whole goods and major parts and service.
· Market equipment parts and service sales such as extended warranties, maintenance plans, machine inspections, overhauls, standard job quotes, and special parts promotions.
· Assist the part, sales, and service departments with after sales calls to ensure equipment operates to the customer’s satisfaction.
· Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily.
· Provide limited technical support where applicable.
· Profile customer’s machines, vehicles, and demographic information.
· Participates in product presentations at customer clinics, pre-Expo Meetings, John Deere Days and meetings held outside the dealership.

Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Minimum 2 years experience in an agriculture or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, training, or other related work
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet connections.
· Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
· Ability to plan strategically to increase equipment sales
· Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
· Ability to deal with employees and public in a courteous, tactful, and patient manner.
· Ability to take initiative and organize responsibilities and job duties to obtain maximum effectiveness.
· Ability to anticipate problems, provide possible solutions and take corrective action.
· Ability to understand and carry out upper management requests.
· Excellent customer relationship skills
