Territory Manager

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for maintaining and developing existing accounts and prospective new dealers to promote and sell the portfolio of ALMO Home appliances and/or any other related categories the Appliance Channel may represent. Focus of this role is maximizing sales revenue as well as Almo net earnings.

What you will do in this role:

Account Management (80% of role)

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the current dealer account base and grow existing business within the assigned territory, providing superior dealer support.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with existing customers, solicit orders, build strong relationships, understand customer objectives, and develop long-term business strategies.
• Provide exceptional dealer support in coordination with the Almo Sales Support team, including product availability, order tracking, freight and damage resolution, product and sales training, communication and administration of promotional pricing programs.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive analysis specific to the assigned territory.
• Coordinate account management activities and customer support efforts in partnership with the Internal TAM.

New Business Development (Up to 20% of role)

• Develop and prospect targeted new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build relationships with prospective dealers and identify opportunities to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.

What we look for in a candidate:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
• Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated, able to work in manage your own business setting
• Proven track record of sales accomplishments in the related field
• Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage long and short sales cycles
• Ability to multi-task and exceed customer expectations and responsiveness
• Sound analysis and critical decision making skills
