We are proud to have a team of dedicated staff, excellent customer service and quality products.Territory and ScheduleDrive your career forward with Midland: As a Territory Sales Manager, you will lead in an established territory spanning Southern and Eastern Minnesota, and Northern Iowa. The company provides a vehicle for work travel, with reimbursements for meals, hotels, and vehicle expenses. The role also covers a reimbursed phone plan to support field activity.TravelThis position requires a flexible schedule and overnight travel 75% of the time. When not traveling, employees are expected to work from the Eden Prairie, MN office.Essential DutiesExecute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring a favorable impression of self and the company.Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and prospective customers; identify opportunities for conversions and take orders.Create, implement, maintain, and execute a territory plan that leads to sales growth in line with sales goals and profitability expectations.Present products and services effectively, overcoming barriers to closing by communicating features, benefits, and value.Manage and interpret customer requirements; assist with problem solving, product selection, pricing, and any point‑of‑sale materials.Introduce and demonstrate new products and services to existing and prospective customers.Present and educate audiences of customers, contractors, architects, and buying influencers.Attend customer functions including trade shows, contractor events, and Parade homes.Identify and resolve customer concerns and recommend courses of action to prevent recurrence.Assist with warranties as required.Manage the territory account list, including determining visit frequency for accounts.Maintain knowledge of industry and competitor products; report on competitor strategies, products, and trends.Maintain a professional image of self and a professional work environment, including the vehicle.Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payment of invoices by customers.Competencies RequiredCommitment to high ethical standards governing professional behavior.Maintain a professional image and work environment including vehicle.Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate time management and organizational skills.Results‑driven with the ability to meet sales goals.Initiative and self‑motivation; proactively proposes ideas and actions.Drive and grit to get things done.Strong customer service orientation.Business acumen.Attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.Clear and concise communication in written and oral formats, including sales presentations.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.Strong presentation skills and professional appearance.Prompt and reliable attendance.Education and ExperienceHigh School or GED required; college degree preferred, with 3–5 years of relevant sales and related industry experience or an equivalent combination.
