Description
Job Summary
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing new customer accounts, managing existing client relationships, and promoting technical products and solutions within an assigned territory. This role involves identifying sales opportunities, delivering presentations to decision-makers, preparing proposals, closing sales, and providing excellent customer support. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and frequent travel to customer sites for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate and develop new customer accounts while managing existing client relationships.
Identify and qualify sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
Present products and solutions to executives, managers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
Prepare proposals and negotiate business opportunities.
Close sales and achieve territory growth objectives.
Conduct product demonstrations and customer meetings.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Provide technical and consultative support to customers.
Travel regularly for customer visits, demonstrations, installations, and business development activities.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and support.
Requirements
Experience in technical sales or related sales environments preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related field preferred.
