Job Title: Test Technician III
Location: Lynnwood WA  Onsite 
Duration: 6+ Months 
Pay Rate: $40/hr (all Inclusive)

An active SECRET security clearance is required


Job Description:
Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods
Documents test results
Performs simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement
Maintains logs and records indicating malfunctions

Scope & Responsibilities
Performs a variety of duties including calibration, setup, troubleshooting, and testing of components, instruments, mechanical assemblies, and circuits under general supervision
Recognizes failures and setup problems and determines the need for appropriate verification
Prepares written reports and makes recommendations for procedural changes
Receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments
Uses professional concepts to solve a variety of problems

Problem Complexity

Works on assignments that are complex in nature
Exercises judgment in resolving problems and making routine recommendations
Follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
Decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules
Interacts daily with supervisors, peer groups, and customers
Exchanges or presents factual information during interactions
Receives no instruction on routine work and little instruction on new assignments
Leadership and Management
Possesses some knowledge and experience to handle usual job events
Makes decisions requiring more than common sense, supported by training and experience for special circumstances
Typical Education and Experience
High school education or equivalent
5+ years of business-related experience


Must have a background in the development, production, assembly, delivery, and ongoing support of
sophisticated electro-mechanical products that serve DoD customer requirements.
An active SECRET security clearance is required
Prefer to have:
Experience inspecting and testing of CCAs and Piezo electrics for conformance to drawings
Leads process improvement projects in their work cells and in the manufacturing floor
Writes or redlines work instructions for new production processes so that improvements are
documented
Ability to read, interpret, and understand assembly drawings.
Ability to rapidly understand work instructions and their requirements.
Assemble small components into a space restricted subsystem.
Competent in using crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering irons.
Competent in using hand tools, power tools, adhesives, and scales.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Experience with ESD, FOD, and EH&S requirements.
