The QA Engineer

Summary:

The QA Engineer will work in a positive, professional environment where you will be responsible for QA integration testing on Order Routing and Executing applications to assist the products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:* Create, execute, maintain and enhance test documents and testing scripts* Perform detailed functional and regression tests* Report, record, and re-verify defects* Work with business partners to identify and resolve issues Requirements:* Ability to document testing procedures, test cases and test results* Analytical skills to investigate and trouble-shoot of application failures, communicate issues to team leads and developers* Solid hands on experience of performing manual functional tests, knowledge of installation and configuration to set up testing environment* Good working knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle, Integration testing methodologies and procedures* Ability to trace through various app logs in the Linux system to trouble shoot is a must* FIX, CMS protocol or TCP/IP protocol testing experience a plus* UNIX/Linux Shell, Perl scripting a plus* Sybase/Oracle working experience* Experience with using automation tools, basic understanding of automation methodologies* Financial Industry, particularly Equities, Options, and Futures trading and market data knowledge required
