The Spindle Box Preschool

The Director Certified Preschool Co-Teacher is a 30+h position based in Boulder, CO. This role combines some administrative leadership with classroom teaching responsibilities, including co-planning and delivering daily lessons, overseeing classroom routines, and supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Director aspect of the role includes supporting staff, assisting with scheduling, contributing to program planning and budgeting, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations, and be able to step into a lead role when needed . The Co-Teacher responsibilities involve collaborating with another teacher to implement curriculum, observe and document child progress, communicate with families, and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications: Minimum

Collaborative spirit, and a good sense of organization

Willingness to communicate positively with parents

Interest in being in an early childhood setting

First Aid/CPR and required classes for working in a licensed ECE program

Preferred

Director certification

1+ year experience

Montessori Certification (any level)

Salary Range: 30/h

Description of Community: We are an in-home licensed preschool program located on an acre of Ponderosa forest. Were located in the foothills just 10 minutes north of Boulder in Boulder County and serve 8 children. As a MECR trained primary guide, I follow Montessori principals. Although we are located in a home, our beautiful classroom was intentionally designed to meet the needs of the developing child.
