Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
Department/Employer Operating Hours 9am-11pm How many hours per week are required? 2-10 Description of Primary Duties
Ushers and front of house staff are responsible for the general ease and comfortability of our patrons that attend academic productions throughout the semester. Other duties include scanning tickets, handing out programs, assist with set up and take down of equipment.
Ushers will be required to assist patrons to their seats, guide them to bathrooms, exit areas, and answer applicable questions to the production. Applicants should be aware that they will also be tasked with helping patrons with limited mobility or other special needs to and from their seats, as well.
For marketing office hours: creating social media content, creating and editing poster designs, publicizing productions across campus and the community.

Theatre and Dance seeks Work Study Eligible Marketing and Front of House Staff:

Applicants should be aware that they will also be tasked with helping patrons with limited mobility or other special needs to and from their seats, as well.
Applicants will also be able to work hours in the Marketing office, working on publicity and social media for the department.
Work hours for this position will be weekly with additional irregular hours based on production needs. Evening and weekend availability is encouraged.
