    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our Primary Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The ideal candidate will be a CADC or CADC Intern with a strong background in providing therapeutic services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. This role requires clinical expertise, group facilitation skills, and the ability to provide individualized care to support clients in their recovery journey.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for clients enrolled in PHP/IOP levels of care.
    • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Document progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented groups focused on recovery, relapse prevention, and coping strategies.
    • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
    • Participate in treatment planning meetings, case consultations, and staff trainings.
    • Support clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and life skills to sustain long-term recovery.
    • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Current CADC or CADC Intern status required.
    • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders in PHP/IOP or similar clinical settings preferred.
    • Strong group therapy and individual counseling skills required.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
