Responsibilities

As a Tidal+ On-Call Bartender & Server, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine with precision and efficiency.
• Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized bar and restaurant area, restocking supplies as needed.
• Adhering to all safety and sanitation to ensure the well-being of our guests and team members.
• Assisting in training new team members and maintaining high standards of service excellence.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $17.13/hour to $19.99/hour. When scheduled to work as a server, this position offers $17.13/hour. The starting rate for the primary position of bartender, is $19.60/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the bartender position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered to those who are at a Full-Time status at $19.99/hour.

Additional Compensation

This position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guests discretion to the Tidal+ serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.

Full-Time Colleagues:

• (6) Paid Holidays per year

Regular Part-Time Colleagues: Pro-rated vacation hours earned on 1-year anniversary based on average weekly hours worked during the previous 12 months of employment

Qualifications

Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, including classic cocktails and current trends Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues alike Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight throughout shift MAST and Food Handlers Cards required
