This temp-to-hire opportunity offers consistent Monday Friday hours and the chance to showcase your precision welding and fabrication skills.
What You ll Do
As a TIG Welder, you ll weld metal components using arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate and repair products according to layouts, welding diagrams and blueprints.
Responsibilities include:
Perform TIG welding on metal components
Read and follow blueprints, layouts and welding diagrams
Bolt, clamp and tack-weld parts into position for welding
Use tape measures, combination squares, protractors, vernier calipers and micrometers
Produce accurate work while meeting close-tolerance requirements
Follow safety procedures and work instructions
What We re Looking For
TIG welding experience
Must be able to pass a TIG weld test
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules and operating instructions
Ability to accurately use measuring tools and instruments
Basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages
Steel-toed boots required
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. Regularly, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch and perform other physical tasks as needed
