TIG Welder

We have a company in Roseville and Vadanis Heights looking for a TIG Welder to join their metal manufacturing team!

Shift:

1st - Mon-Thurs 5am-3:30pm, sometimes OT Fridays

2nd - Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-2am, sometimes OT Fridays

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler

• Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance

• Develops templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.

• Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.

• Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.

• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments

• welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, laser hand welding, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs
