TileImpact is a commercial tile subcontractor based in Fremont. We've been running Bay Area projects since 2022 - senior living & medical facilities, dealerships, health clubs, movie theaters, etc. We work clean, we pay on time, and we run organized job sites.

What You'll Do Daily

This role is focused on the day-to-day work of supporting and performing commercial tile installation.

Depending on your experience level, daily responsibilities may include:

• Assist tile setters with layout, prep, installation, grouting, and cleanup
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment on job sites
• Prepare surfaces for tile installation
• Mix mortar, thinset, grout, and other installation materials
• Cut tile and assist with measuring and layout under supervision
• Install tile on floors, walls, and other surfaces if skill level allows
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout the day
• Follow foreman and lead setter direction while maintaining strong pace and quality
• Use company systems for communication, timecards, and daily coordination

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Bay Area
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work on your feet and knees 
• Ability to start early; typical shift begins around 6:00 AM
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Basic comfort using a smartphone (monthly phone reimbursement of $40 to $50) for:
• Digital Timecard
• SOP App
• Digital forms / basic field communication

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Construction labor experience is a plus, but not required
• Able to follow direction, stay productive, and maintain a clean work area
• Reliable attendance and consistent follow-through

Schedule

• Full-time
• Typical hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Overtime and shift differential may apply depending on project needs

Additional earning opportunities may include:
