As a Tile Installer Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced installers, learning the techniques, tools, and craftsmanship required to install commercial tile flooring and wall systems.

What You''ll Learn

<\/h2>Ceramic tile installation

<\/li>Porcelain tile installation

<\/li>Quarry tile installation

<\/li>Floor and wall tile applications

<\/li>Surface preparation and waterproofing systems

<\/li>Tile layout and pattern installation

<\/li>Grouting and finishing techniques

<\/li>Safe operation of tile tools and equipment

<\/li><\/ul>Responsibilities

<\/h2>Assist experienced tile installers on commercial construction projects

<\/li>Prepare floors and walls for tile installation

<\/li>Mix mortar, grout, and other installation materials

<\/li>Measure, cut, and stage tile materials

<\/li>Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

<\/li>Learn proper installation techniques and industry best practices

<\/li>Follow all company and job site safety requirements

<\/li>Work with team members to complete projects on schedule

<\/li>Travel to project locations throughout Indiana as needed

<\/li><\/ul>Qualifications

<\/h2>Construction, flooring, remodeling, or labor experience preferred but not required

<\/li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

<\/li>Reliable transportation

<\/li>Valid driver''s license preferred

<\/li>Ability to work effectively on a team

<\/li>Basic math and measurement skills

<\/li>Dependable attendance and positive attitude

<\/li>Ability to work in physically demanding environments

<\/li><\/ul>Travel Requirements

<\/h2>Position is based in the Greater Indianapolis area

<\/li>Regular travel throughout Indiana is required

<\/li>Occasional overnight travel may be necessary depending on project location

<\/li>Hotel accommodations and per diem provided when applicable

<\/li><\/ul>Physical Requirements

<\/h2>Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds

<\/li>Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, and work on hands and knees for extended periods

<\/li>Ability to stand and move throughout the workday

<\/li>Ability to work in active construction environments and varying conditions

<\/li>Safely operate hand and power tools
