Tile Setter

Position: Tile Setter

Tomlin Tile is seeking a Tile Setter, no experience necessary, to join our team on a full-time basis. We specialize in providing top-notch services to our clients and we are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to help us continue to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

- Install and repair various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and granite

- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and accuracy

- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and filling in cracks or holes

- Mix and apply grout, sealant, and other adhesives as needed

- Inspect and troubleshoot any issues with tile installation, making necessary adjustments or repairs

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences

- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

- Reliable Transportation

- Proficient in using a measuring tape

- Knowledge of different types of adhesives, grout, and sealants is a plus

- 18 years of age, or older

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time

- The ability to pass a background check
