Trimmer / Packer
Pay: $17.34/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7am - 7:30pm
Employment Type: Full-Time Temp through mid December
Job Summary
Our client is a manufacturing company producing plastic containers and is looking for a dependable Trimmer / Packer to join their production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position that involves standing for extended periods and performing repetitive trimming and packing tasks throughout the shift.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish, comfortable working a 12-hour shift, and able to perform repetitive physical work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Trim excess plastic from finished containers as part of the production process.
- Perform repetitive trimming tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Pack finished products according to company specifications.
- Inspect products for quality and identify any defects or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety and production procedures.
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
- Perform other production-related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish required.
- Must be willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions and trimming tasks.
- Ability to maintain focus and quality while performing repetitive work.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.
Candidate Selection Process
Candidates should understand that they will be asked to visit the plant and observe the Trimmer operation before moving forward. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical requirements of the position and commit to being able to perform the trimming and packing duties.
Following the plant visit, company leaders will interview qualified candidates before making a hiring decision.
Starting Pay: $17.34/hour
