Tire Tech

Job Summary: As a Tire Technician I, you'll perform basic to mid-range diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs and replacements.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Troubleshooting / Maintenance / Repair & Replacement:

• Assists in basic to mid-range diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assists with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and replacements in assigned classification
• Operates with basic tooling
• May work with others in an apprentice-style environment
• Performs tire repairs; repairs / replaces; mounts / dismounts; controls tire inventory; repairs / replaces wheels
• Delivers tires to tire banks
• Trains others
• Performs Associate Tire Tech duties

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

Work Experience:

• 1+ years of related experience - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work in a team environment - Required

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent - Required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Obtain / maintain a third-party tire certification - Required
• Obtain / maintain a CDL - Required
• Meet H-E-B driving qualifications - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Lift 100 lbs and carry 5 feet
• Work while sitting, standing, stooping, bending, or in a prone position
• Work with hands over head
• Climb and work from a ladder
