Qualifications:

NJ Elementary Teacher Certificate with MS Math (Grades 5-8) and /or K-12 Teacher of Mathematics Certificate

In-depth knowledge of NJ SLS for Mathematics

Demonstrated success working with middle school students in Mathematics

Ability to identify individual student's needs to provide support using a variety of instructional strategies for at-risk students

• This position is for the 2026-27 school year only and is dependent on the receipt of Title I Funding

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the AppliTrack portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
