Title Operations Manager
Reports To: Operations Director
About the Opportunity
Our client, a multi-state law firm, is seeking an experienced Title Operations Manager to oversee title-related operations, drive process improvements, and ensure consistent service delivery.

This position will lead multiple teams responsible for title processing, review, curative activities, and related functions. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of foreclosure title operations, experience leading operational teams, and a proven ability to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
Core Responsibilities

Oversee daily title operations, including order intake, title examination and review, title updates, curative activities, and related processing functions.
Lead and develop supervisors and team leaders, providing guidance on performance expectations, operational priorities, and issue resolution.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), workflow volumes, turnaround times, and quality metrics to ensure operational goals are met.
Develop and implement staffing strategies, resource allocation plans, training initiatives, and cross-training opportunities to support business needs.
Maintain and improve operational procedures, quality standards, and workflow processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
Partner with legal teams, internal stakeholders, and leadership to address complex title issues, resolve escalations, and support client service expectations.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve overall operational performance.
Support system enhancements, workflow updates, and process improvements in collaboration with internal teams.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven team environment.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong understanding of real estate title operations, including foreclosure title processes, title examination, and curative activities.
Demonstrated success managing high-volume operations with measurable quality, productivity, and turnaround-time expectations.
Proven ability to lead and develop supervisors, team leads, and operational staff.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using operational reporting and performance metrics to drive decisions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve complex operational issues, and collaborate effectively across departments.
Experience developing and improving operational procedures, training programs, and quality control processes.

Experience

68+ years of experience in real estate title operations required.
23+ years of experience leading supervisors, team leads, or multiple operational teams required.
Experience in foreclosure, creditor-rights, mortgage servicing, or related legal operations preferred.
Experience overseeing multiple title functions or managing high-volume title processing operations strongly preferred.
