TN VISA - Construction Site Supervisor

Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking to sponsor TN Visa candidates to work as Construction Site Supervisors to supervise the new construction, retrofitting and remodeling of hog barns in East Central Iowa. 
 
As Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for sourcing qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. Additionally, you will be required to stay abreast of subcontractors’ day to day activities and ensure that their work meets Hog Slat’s expectations for quality and timeliness.  You will work not only with our sales staff to coordinate the projects but also with our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don’t slow down construction.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background:

• Successful site project management experience (preferably in hog equipment installation/barn construction)
• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid Passport
• Professional License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• excellent knowledge of all phase of commercial construction
• experience in construction scheduling, field supervision, and quality control of construction projects
• ability to organize and inspire sub contractors to exceptional performance
• knowledge of the modern hog industry is preferred
• must have drivers license and maintain a satisfactory driving record for liability and insurance purposes
