About the Role:
Little Sprouts Academy in Eastpointe, MI is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally-driven lesson plans for toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor and support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities
• Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and developmental records
• Supervise toddlers during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and rest time
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a consistent, positive learning experience

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
• Previous experience working with toddlers or in a childcare/preschool setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check
• Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
