Your mission:

The SALMON Center for Early Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will partner with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, and thrive. What you’ll do:

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily classroom activities.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
• Observe children's progress and communicate concerns with the Lead Teacher.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Assume responsibility for the classroom when the Lead Teacher is absent.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and intergenerational activities.

What you’ll bring:

• Massachusetts EEC Professional Teacher Certification is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, dependable, and nurturing approach to working with young children.
