This is a full-time position scheduled Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm. The pay is $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite position at our center located: 450 W Welbourne Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

Join our Welbourne family as a Toddler Teacher, working with our growing learners aged two years old! In this nurturing role, you'll help create a warm, engaging environment where our Toddlers can explore, grow, and thrive. You'll plan and lead playful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans, support key milestones, and work closely with a caring team to ensure each child feels safe, loved, and ready for the world ahead.

What You’ll Do:

·       Design and implement engaging curriculum based on early learning standards and developmentally appropriate practices

·       Create nurturing, age-appropriate experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

·       Model best practices in Toddler care and guide classroom staff through mentoring and positive leadership

·       Provide responsive care, including feeding, soothing, and routinediapering, potty training while following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

·       Foster strong, trusting relationships with infants and communicate regularly with families about daily care and developmental progress

·       Ensure compliance with all Welbourne policies, licensing standards, and health/safety regulations

·       Maintain accurate classroom records, including daily care logs, lesson plans, and developmental observations

·       Commit to ongoing professional growth through continued education and a personal development plan

What We Need from You

•        High school diploma / GED, or degree in a related field of study required
•            FL DCF 45 hours required

•          CDA is highly preferred
•          Must clear a full level II DCF background check
•          At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
•          CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
