These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness, and lightweight applications. We are seeking a professional like you to become our Cellasto Toller Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of all external tolling network involved in the post-processing activities of Cellasto parts. This job has two main aspects:
• One being to build relationships within the network while driving process and cost optimization efforts, acting as the main interface with all BASF functions. • The second is to manage strategic projects involving post-processing, driving scope, budget, and timelines from planning to final production phase.
Overall, you will ensure the quality of all Cellasto products processed by Tollers as well as the outcomes of the projects assigned to you, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Work Order System
By planning, scheduling, applying standards, and coordinating services of planned maintenance and construction jobs, you will minimize costs and production downtime by the proper use of craft manpower, materials, and services.
As a Toller Manager, you create chemistry by:
Technically and commercially managing the Tollers operation, ensuring compliance across applicable standards successfully using your knowledge of IATF as well as OEM specific requirements with a high grade of autonomy, driving changes and standardization, working in liaison with local and global functions.
Work in collaboration with Procurement, Quality Management, Controlling, or any other needed internal function to ensure legal and organizational practices compliance.
Strategically manage the Toller network combining Plant internal and Tollers external assets, capabilities, providing cost-efficient portfolio management solutions for the Plant and the business.
Ensure safe, reliable, cost-effective, and stable production processes at Tollers according to global and local specification and best practices.
Committing to oversee the Tollers process performance with focus on cost, quality, and overall efficiency, driving OpEx measures to enable quality improvements and cost savings.
Provide technical review and guidance for new parts projects, ensuring a successful introduction to manufacturing at Tollers, participating in the Design review and Reject Rate meetings with focus on process reject rate performance.
Manage projects workflows and design documentation according to established practices and procedures.
Successfully lead capital projects assigned to you, including all activities going from scope development to execution and completion with final handover to production or go-to-market.
Work in close collaboration, providing guidance and support to the Toller Quality Engineer in making technical decisions for topics involving new parts set-up, quality investigations, capacity, and portfolio management, and process troubleshooting.
If You Have...
A bachelors degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or correlated engineering areas with a blend of professional experience that supports the success in the role.
MBA or certification in Project Management will be considered a differential.
Preferably 5 years of experience in manufacturing for automotive, supervising or coordinating in-house or third-party Tollers processes.
Commercial management experience negotiating bids or managing contracts.
Solid understanding of Project Management fundamentals with demonstrating history of leading roles in projects.
Skills of a good team player and communicate well across multiple levels of the organization.
50 travel required to local Tollers.
