Tool Maker | Machinist

## Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker | Machinist to join our dynamic team in Little Rock, AR. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in precision machining and fabrication to create high-quality tools and components. ## Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and manual machining equipment, including Bridgeport mills and manual lathes.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of tools and components.

• Perform CNC machine setup and changeover, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

• Utilize precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and hand metrology equipment, to guarantee high-quality standards.

• Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support machining processes and improve workflow.

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and product quality.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tool Maker or Machinist, with a strong background in precision machining.

• Proficient in CNC machine setup and operation, specifically with 3-4 axis VMCs.

• Strong manual machining skills, including experience with manual lathes and Bridgeport mills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

• Familiarity with precision measurement tools, including calipers and micrometers.

• Experience in fabrication, jig and fixture building, and tool & die work.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
