We are looking for dedicated and highly qualified professionals to work at Naval Air Station North Island CA under a contractual effort PRODUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES (PSS) Fleet Readiness Center South West (FRCSW)

Description:

(Tool Crib Attendant) This incumbent receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, such as measuring devices, in an industrial establishment. The Tools and Parts Attendant does the following keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers, searches for lost or misplaced tools, prepares periodic inventory or keeps perpetual inventory and requisitions stock as needed, unpacks and stores new equipment; visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn out equipment to superiors; may coat tools with grease or other preservative, using a brush or spray gun, and may attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment using electric marking tool.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be a High School Graduate
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
• Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and / or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned task.
• Must past pre-employment background check.
• Must past pre-employment and post-employment drug testing.
• Prior experience in DoD supply systems and procedures, DoD Aircraft Maintenance tool control Program minimum 4 years' experience

Preferred Qualification:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Prior experience in DoD supply systems and procedures, DoD Aircraft Maintenance tool control Program minimum 6 years' experience
