Tooling Technician

We are currently seeking Tooling Technician, with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Clear reporting of tool status and issues to production and engineering teams, effective collaboration with machinists and maintenance personnel.
• Able to explain tooling changes, setups, and preventive actions in teams meetings, supports documentation for tooling reviews and audits
• Skilled in using CAD/CAM software and tooling management systems. Familiar with CNC machine interfaces and measurement tools.
• Use wear data and production feedback to optimize tool performance.

Desired Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Technical degree or certification in Tooling, Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Tooling Technician, Mold Technician, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience in injection molding or related processes and tooling systems.

• Experience with mold repair, preventive maintenance, and tooling setup is essential.

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with a deep understanding of tooling, molds, and machining techniques.

• Proficient in using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMMs) to check tooling accuracy.
