Role: Tooling Technician
Location: Libertyville, Illinois
Experience: 2 5 years

Job Summary:
Responsible for designing, maintaining, validating, and troubleshooting molds, jigs, and fixtures to meet product and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer moderately complex tooling, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluations and participate in design reviews.
• Validate molding designs and troubleshoot tooling-related issues.
• Implement cost-effective tooling design improvements and modifications.
• Support tooling qualification, sampling, and final part approval.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare status reports and maintain tooling and equipment documentation.
• Follow tooling protocols and support tool-room equipment maintenance.

Key Skills:

• 2 5 years of relevant tooling experience
• Tooling and molding design
• DFM evaluation
• Tooling troubleshooting and maintenance
• Mold, jig, and fixture design
• Documentation and status reporting
