Job Description
We are seeking a capable Tools and Test Automation Engineer with experience developing and optimizing automation tools and processes across safety-critical avionics lifecycles.
This individual will identify workflow gaps, modernize existing tooling, and deliver scalable, high‑reliability solutions that strengthen the development and testing infrastructure. This individual will provide technical expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
Strong experience in interfacing with embedded systems.
Understanding of automating Human Machine Interfacing (HMI).
Applicable hands-on 5+ years of experience with automation.
Strong understanding of:
Python and Pytest
Other scripting languages such as TCL, PHP or Javascript
C/C++ or similar embedded languages
DO‑330 tool qualification is beneficial but not required.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
Able to travel approximately up to four weeks in a year.
