Toxic-Tort & Asbestos Attorney – Emeryville, CA (Plaintiff Side)

A nationally recognized, plaintiff-side firm — name confidential at this stage — is seeking an experienced attorney to join its East Bay office in Emeryville, CA. This firm focuses exclusively on mesothelioma and asbestos-related cancer claims and has earned a powerful reputation for results, client compassion, and long-term career opportunities for its attorneys.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Handle a dedicated docket of mesothelioma and asbestos cancer cases from initial client intake through settlement or trial

• Develop and document asbestos exposure histories in coordination with the firm's investigative team

• Draft and argue pre-trial motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents

• Conduct and defend depositions of clients, experts, and fact witnesses

• Collaborate closely with medical experts, pathologists, and occupational health consultants

• Advocate on behalf of seriously ill clients and their families at every stage of the litigation process

What We're Looking For:

• Active California Bar license (required)

• Plaintiff-side litigation background strongly preferred; experience in asbestos, toxic tort, mass tort, or personal injury is a significant advantage

• Strong deposition and courtroom presence

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with empathy and precision

• Genuine passion for representing those facing life-altering illness

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $140,000–$230,000 annually, based on experience
