Background Investigation, Coaching, Communication Skills, Organizational Skills, Team Player, Track and Field
Ross Local School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Track & Field Assistant Coach. This individual will assist the head coach in developing and implementing a successful track and field program that promotes athletic skill development, sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and conducting practices and competitions
- Support student-athlete development in track and field events
- Promote good sportsmanship and positive team culture
- Assist with supervision of student-athletes during practices, meets, and team activities
- Follow all district, conference, and state athletic policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director
Qualifications
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff
- Must meet all Ohio coaching certification and background check requirements
