Description
Trade Operations Systems Analyst We are currently seeking candidates for a Trade Operations Systems Analyst opportunity with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Trade Operations Systems Analyst will support investment professionals and trade lifecycle by troubleshooting issues, determining root causes and providing effective solutions for trade lifecycle management tools. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in middle office operations, investment operations, trade support or fund administration in investment management.
This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire role paying between $55-$65/hour (depending on experience). This is a hybrid role requiring an onsite presence in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
Communicate directly with investment professionals ranging from all levels within the organization as a trusted advisor
Yield questions related to functional, data and technical in relation to our trade lifecycle management tools from end-users
Address, resolve and determine the cause of issues regarding the trade lifecycle management tools
Manage production bridges to resolve significant systems and data issues.
Provide clear verbal and written communication to both end-user and technical audiences, and be able to guide to solutions
Ensure a high level of service within this critical support area
Provide additional support as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of experience in middle office operations, investment operations, trade support or fund administration in investment management
Previous experience with Murex (MX.3), Charles River Development (CRD) or similar order management system (OMS)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
Working knowledge of various financial instruments including foreign exchange (FX), options, stocks, derivatives, forwards, bonds, futures and swaps
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage competing deadlines
