Job Description


We are hiring Laborers and Certified Flaggers to assist with traffic control operations at various job sites. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that requires working as part of a team to maintain safe work zones for crews, drivers, and pedestrians.


Responsibilities

• Assist with traffic control operations at construction sites and roadway projects.
  
  
• Help load, unload, and transport traffic control equipment.
  
  
• Assist with placing, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices under the direction of a Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS).
  
  
• Direct and control traffic safely when assigned to flagging duties.
  
  
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic control requirements.
  
  
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other personnel on job sites.
  
  
• Perform general labor/shop duties as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
  
  
• Flagger applicants must have a valid flagger certification.
  
  
• Previous traffic control or construction experience preferred, but not required for general laborers.
  
  
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  
  
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving equipment.
  
  
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
  
  
• Willingness to work overtime, overnight shifts, and weekends as needed.
  
  

Pay & Schedule

• $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  
  
• Full-time position.
  
  
• Overtime opportunities available based on project needs.
